Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment or receiving services from Kang An TCM Clinic (“Kang An TCM”, “we”, “us” or “our”), you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings and Deposits

Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

A non-refundable deposit of S$10 is required for every online booking.

The remaining balance must be paid at the clinic during your visit.

The treatment selected during booking is provisional. Following an assessment, our TCMPB-registered TCM physician may recommend a different treatment, postpone treatment or decline to proceed if it is unsuitable for your condition.
2. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Late cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment and no-shows will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability and clinic confirmation.
3. Consultations and Treatments

All treatments are subject to assessment and recommendation by a TCMPB-registered TCM physician.

First-time patients must complete a physician consultation before receiving treatment.

Patients who have not visited Kang An TCM within the past six months must undergo a new consultation.

Unless otherwise stated, treatment prices do not include consultation fees, medication, herbs or additional therapies.

Treatment suitability and individual responses may vary. No specific treatment outcome can be guaranteed.
4. Medical Certificates

Medical certificates are issued only when considered medically appropriate by the attending physician.

Issuance is based on the physician’s clinical assessment and is not guaranteed.
5. Payments and Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable and serve as confirmation of the appointment.

Fees for consultations or treatments already provided are non-refundable.

For health and safety reasons, prescribed or dispensed herbs, pills and other medication cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by law.
6. Insurance Claims

Upon request, we may provide relevant receipts or supporting medical documentation to assist with an insurance claim.

All documentation will be based on the attending physician’s assessment and the patient’s clinical records.

Providing documentation does not guarantee claim approval. The final decision rests entirely with the insurance provider.
7. Personal Data Protection

We collect, use and disclose personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and other applicable laws.

Your information may be used to manage appointments, provide clinical care, maintain medical records, process payments, prepare insurance documentation, respond to enquiries and meet legal or regulatory requirements.

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent unless permitted or required by law.

You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal data, or to withdraw your consent where applicable.

Certain information may need to be retained for clinical, legal, regulatory or record-keeping purposes.
8. Changes to These Terms
Kang An TCM may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The latest version published on our website will apply.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
