Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment or receiving services from Kang An TCM Clinic (“Kang An TCM”, “we”, “us” or “our”), you agree to the following terms.

1. Bookings and Deposits

  • Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • A non-refundable deposit of S$10 is required for every online booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at the clinic during your visit.

  • The treatment selected during booking is provisional. Following an assessment, our TCMPB-registered TCM physician may recommend a different treatment, postpone treatment or decline to proceed if it is unsuitable for your condition.

2. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Late cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment and no-shows will result in the deposit being forfeited.

  • Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability and clinic confirmation.

3. Consultations and Treatments

  • All treatments are subject to assessment and recommendation by a TCMPB-registered TCM physician.

  • First-time patients must complete a physician consultation before receiving treatment.

  • Patients who have not visited Kang An TCM within the past six months must undergo a new consultation.

  • Unless otherwise stated, treatment prices do not include consultation fees, medication, herbs or additional therapies.

  • Treatment suitability and individual responses may vary. No specific treatment outcome can be guaranteed.

4. Medical Certificates

  • Medical certificates are issued only when considered medically appropriate by the attending physician.

  • Issuance is based on the physician’s clinical assessment and is not guaranteed.

5. Payments and Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable and serve as confirmation of the appointment.

  • Fees for consultations or treatments already provided are non-refundable.

  • For health and safety reasons, prescribed or dispensed herbs, pills and other medication cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by law.

6. Insurance Claims

  • Upon request, we may provide relevant receipts or supporting medical documentation to assist with an insurance claim.

  • All documentation will be based on the attending physician’s assessment and the patient’s clinical records.

  • Providing documentation does not guarantee claim approval. The final decision rests entirely with the insurance provider.

7. Personal Data Protection

  • We collect, use and disclose personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and other applicable laws.

  • Your information may be used to manage appointments, provide clinical care, maintain medical records, process payments, prepare insurance documentation, respond to enquiries and meet legal or regulatory requirements.
